Talking Walls

On Monday, we did an exercise in Art History called Talking Walls. Gretchen put on some Native American music and we drew on paper that had been taped on the walls. We used a charcoal and a pastel chalk. We were told to draw what made us tick, or what we heard in the music. I drew my cats, a music note, the void, and an orange heart because that's the first color I grabbed. I was surprised at how much dust came off on my hands and jeans.  I was also surprised at how naturally the image of music came. It was difficult for me to find a lot to draw because I was put on the spot.

Thanks for reading,
Emily
