On Monday, we did an exercise in Art History called Talking Walls. Gretchen put on some Native American music and we drew on paper that had been taped on the walls. We used a charcoal and a pastel chalk. We were told to draw what made us tick, or what we heard in the music. I drew my cats, a music note, the void, and an orange heart because that's the first color I grabbed. I was surprised at how much dust came off on my hands and jeans. I was also surprised at how naturally the image of music came. It was difficult for me to find a lot to draw because I was put on the spot. Thanks for reading,
Emily
